In principle, the installation comprises (1) copying of PearsonT executable and (2) installation of the freeware graphics program Gnuplot (version 4.2 or higher). Copy the files pkunzip.exe and PearsonT.zip to your PearsonT directory (say, C:\PearsonT). Uncompressing with the command pkunzip PearsonT.zip you obtain the following files: PearsonT.exe : PearsonT executable Install Gnuplot (pkzipped version 3.7 on my URL) similarly. Gnuplot executable has to be in your system path as 'gnuplot.exe'. PearsonT may be run from the DOS window with the command PearsonT or double-clicked from Windows Explorer. Output files are written to the PearsonT directory. PearsonT.exe was compiled with Absoft's F90 10.0 compiler. II Installation (on Linux PC) ========================== PearsonT has been tested on a PC under Suse Linux 8.0. In principle, the installation comprises (1) copying of PearsonT executable and (2) installation of the freeware graphics program Gnuplot (version 3.6 or 3.7). Copy the executable file pearsont-linux to your PearsonT directory. Install Gnuplot similarly. Gnuplot executable has to be in your system path as 'gnuplot'. Output files are written to the PearsonT directory. pearson-linux was compiled with the Portland PGF90 3.2-4 compiler. END OF FILE README.TXT
